Metaphorically speaking, the commune Buces is the guardian of the eastern entrance of Zarandului Region. The place seems to greet you lifting the stone hat of Vulcan Mountain, as you come down from Motilor Region, toward the valley of Crisul Alb – the gold carrier – Chrysos, as the ancient Greeks named the noble metal.
